Roll-off dumpster rental in Oregon
Approx. 31 road miles north-west of Janesville, around 50 minutes — Highway 14 north-west through Evansville into the village.
Oregon is Highway 14 north-west from the yard, about 50 minutes through Evansville, and next morning as a rule. The village has grown 13.8% since 2020 to 12,718 — the fastest of any place we serve — adding over 1,800 housing units between 2010 and 2021 and permitting 289 more dwellings since.
Even so, 72% of the housing stock was built before 2000 and nearly half the homes are valued over $300,000, so the work is additions and whole-house remodels in the established streets, first kitchens and baths in the 1990s subdivisions, and finish-out debris in the new ones. Median household income is $102,978 and 72.4% of homes are owner-occupied (Census).
Local knowledge
Getting our bearings in Oregon
Knowing a city properly is the difference between covering it and showing up with the right box.
- A Madison commuter village — the economy is "highly interconnected with the greater Madison metropolitan area" and most residents commute out.
- Employers — the Oregon School District (500–999 staff), then Wisco Industries, Hy-Vee, Xyte, Thysse Printing and Trachte USA (prefab metal buildings), each 100–249.
- Housing — 1,800-plus new units 2010–2021, 72% of the stock pre-2000, nearly half valued over $300,000 (2023 comprehensive plan).
- Pellitteri Waste Systems runs the carts under village contract, billed on the utility bill; a bulky-item schedule is not published.
- Village Hall at 101 Alpine Parkway, 608-835-3118; Public Works on 608-835-6285.

What comes out of Oregon properties
Additions and whole-house remodels in 20s and 30s, kitchens, baths and roofs in 1970s–90s houses in 15s and 20s, new-build finish waste in 20s. The village page says if more than fits the cart, talk to Pellitteri about a bigger or extra cart or extra bags on collection day; no bulky-item schedule or fee is published. The compost site at 91 North Perry Parkway is for village residents only — "private contractors are prohibited" — and the monthly brush pickup will not take trimming done by a contractor, so tree and landscape crews need a container for brush.

Permits, placement and who may haul in Oregon
Right-of-way: §8.06(1) says no person shall encroach upon or obstruct any street, alley, sidewalk or public grounds. The exception at §8.06(2)(e) is "building materials, when placed upon the street, alley or sidewalk upon conditions prescribed by the Street Superintendent," who may require barricades or lights. No dumpster permit or fee is on the books — the $25 Street Use Permit is for events and closures, and Street Opening permits are for excavation. The driveway is the answer; for a street placement we would ring Public Works (608-835-6285) first. Note §9.07(3): construction and demolition equipment, and vehicles hauling refuse or materials to or from the site, may run only between 7 am and 7 pm, with a $100 to $500 forfeiture a day — we schedule drops and pulls inside that window.
Who may haul: no waste-hauler licence appears in the village's list of required licences (§12.01). §21.08(2)(b) lets owners the village does not serve contract with any hauler who complies with federal, state and local law. Our Oregon loads are covered on the road and, because Oregon is in Dane County, can tip at the Dane County landfill (Rodefeld) at 7102 Maahic Way, Madison — $60.10 a ton for mixed refuse and $63 a ton for construction and demolition, Dane County waste only, Monday to Friday 6:30 to 3:15 and Saturday 8 to 10:45.
Summarized from the city's published code and web pages as read in October 2026. Codes change — confirm with the department listed before you rely on it.
How it works
Booking a dumpster in Oregon
Booking a container here takes one phone call and about five minutes.
- 1
Call and tell us the job
One short conversation. We ask what you are clearing, where the container needs to sit, and how much room the driveway or lot gives us. No forms, no waiting on an email.
- 2
We size it and quote it flat
You get one number covering delivery, the 7-day rental, pickup, disposal and a stated tonnage allowance. If a smaller box does the job we will say so. If it is shingles or concrete, we say up front that it needs its own box.
- 3
Delivered where you want it
The driver walks the spot with you and sets the container square on the driveway, lot or job site, boards under the rails. Same-day in Janesville if you called before noon.
- 4
Load at your own pace
Keep it level with the top rail and keep the banned items out — tires, appliances, electronics, batteries, oil, yard waste in a mixed load. Need a swap mid-job or an early pickup? One call and we are on it.
- 5
We haul it and sort it right
Clean concrete, brick and brush go to the Clean Fill Facility, appliances and metal to the landfill's recycling areas, and the rest to the licensed landfill for that county. You get your driveway back the way you left it.

Local answers
Dumpster rental in Oregon — common questions
Is Oregon same-day or next-day?
Next morning as a rule — about 50 minutes up Highway 14.
Can a dumpster sit in the street in Oregon?
Only on conditions set by the Street Superintendent, who may require barricades and lights; there is no dumpster permit on the books. The driveway needs no permission.
Does Oregon restrict who can supply a roll-off?
No — the village lists no hauler licence and lets owners contract any hauler who complies with the law. We do keep deliveries and pickups between 7 am and 7 pm, which the code requires at construction sites.
Can my landscaper use the village compost site?
No — it is residents-only and bans private contractors, and brush pickup will not take contractor trimming. Brush from a crew goes in a container.
Service area
Every town we cover
We run roll-off containers out of the Adel Street yard to every town below. Janesville, Beloit and the Rock County towns are usually same-day; the Walworth, Jefferson, Dane and Green County towns are next-day. Four towns license the haulers that work inside their limits — each page says so plainly. If your town is not listed, call anyway.
