Sameday Dumpster Janesville containers staged at the yard on Adel Street, Janesville

Where we deliver across five counties

We run roll-off containers out of 1741 Adel St on the south side of Janesville to every town below. Distance is the first thing that changes: Janesville, Beloit and the Rock County towns are usually same-afternoon when you call before noon; the Walworth and Jefferson County towns out Highway 26, Highway 14 and I-43, and the Dane and Green County towns up Highway 51 and out Highway 11, are usually next morning. The price is the same.

The second thing that changes is the law. Janesville has no hauler licence and a Dumpster Permit for street placement; Beloit licenses every hauler working inside its limits (ord. 17.50) and bars street obstructions with no permit route; Delavan, Elkhorn and Monroe license haulers too, Elkhorn's Grade 2 construction licence at $100 a year; Stoughton names a dumpster as a street obstruction needing a permit; Fort Atkinson publishes its own "Get a Dumpster Permit" page. And the landfills differ: Rock County loads tip at the Janesville landfill ($46 a ton, no shingles, concrete or yard waste in a mixed load), Dane County loads can use Rodefeld in Madison, Green County loads go to the county landfill in Brodhead, which refuses concrete, brick and dirt outright. Each town page quotes the section and gives the department to call. We would rather say it here than find out on delivery day.

The service area

Every town we cover, grouped by distance from the yard

The run splits naturally into three rings from a yard on the south side of Janesville: Rock County, the east, and the north and west.

Janesville, Beloit and Rock County

Inside the city and the first ring around the Adel Street yard — Beloit, Milton, Edgerton, Evansville, Clinton, Orfordville and Footville, roughly 12 to 19 miles out. Same-day when you call before noon.

East — Walworth and Jefferson counties, 20 to 36 miles

Whitewater, Fort Atkinson, Delavan, Elkhorn and Lake Geneva, out Highway 26, Highway 14 and I-43 — usually next morning, often the same afternoon when a truck is already heading east.

North and west — Dane and Green counties, 21 to 36 miles

Stoughton and Oregon up Highway 51 and Highway 14, Brodhead and Monroe out Highway 11 — next morning as a rule, with Brodhead often same-afternoon on the landfill run.

Answers

Service area questions

Which towns are same-day?

Janesville, Beloit, Milton, Edgerton, Clinton, Orfordville and Footville when you call before noon. Evansville and Brodhead often are, when a truck is already heading that way. Elsewhere it is usually next morning.

Do you serve the Town of Beloit or the townships around Janesville?

Yes, call — they are inside our run, they just do not have their own pages yet.

Why do some town pages say the town licenses its haulers?

Because Beloit, Delavan, Elkhorn and Monroe have ordinances requiring a municipal hauler licence to collect or haul solid waste inside their limits. We state what each town's code says and tell you where your job stands when you call.

Is the price different by town?

No. The far corners of the run — Lake Geneva, Monroe, Oregon — may carry a small distance adjustment, which we say up front. Where the load tips changes the overage rate per ton, and we say that too.

Do you serve Madison, Rockford or Watertown?

Our run is Rock County and the ring of towns around it. Call if you are just over the line and we will tell you honestly.
